Cosaveli have announced dates and routes for the Trois Etapes’ first Giro d’Italia and annual TdF professional-amateur (pro-am) events.
The 2014 Giro will take place from the 6th-9th June with riders riding a route through the Dolomites Mountains tackling four iconic summits: Passo Paradori, Passo Giau, Passo San Pellegrino and the Passo Fedaia.
Returning for its third year, the TdF pro-am race will follow the route of its official counterpart, released 23/10 in Paris, and take place from 7th-10th August. As with previous years, the race is made up of 15 teams of eight riders including one professional rider.
The Tour will begin in the Pyreneese via the Col d’Aubisque for stage one, before riding stage 18 of the Tour de France and finish with the Col du Soular climb on the final day.
Since it began two years ago, the TdF pro-am race has raised $4.5 million for 11 charities. Niels Bryan-Low Cosaveli CEO said: “2014 is going to be another big year for Cosaveli. Our Giro and TdF events in 2014 are going to be more breathtaking and spectacular than ever before.”
