Clásica San Sebastián 2019 start list
Full list of riders taking part in the 2019 Clásica San Sebastián in Spain on Saturday, August 3
The start list for the Clásica San Sebastián reads a lot like a who's-who of the 2018 Tour de France - with many of the race's success stories preparing to line up at the Spanish WorldTour race, as well as some who didn't fair so well in France.
Defending champion and two time stage winner Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-Quick-Step) is listed to ride, as is race winner Egan Bernal (Team Ineos), who will hope to be recovered from the post-Tour celebrations and criteriums.
Dan Martin (UAE Team Emirates) will be lining up, too, having had a disappointing Tour that saw him make very little impact on the race. The Yates brothers will both feature too, Adam having won the race in 2015, while Simon will be riding high after two stage wins at the Tour.
There's also a plethora of former winners lining up for a shot at another San Sebastián title at the 39th edition, including world champion Alejandro Valverde (Movistar), Bauke Mollema (Trek-Segafredo), Tony Gallopin (Ag2r La Mondiale) and Luis León Sánchez (Astana).

Jonny was Cycling Weekly's Weekend Editor until 2022.
I like writing offbeat features and eating too much bread when working out on the road at bike races.
Before joining Cycling Weekly I worked at The Tab and I've also written for Vice, Time Out, and worked freelance for The Telegraph (I know, but I needed the money at the time so let me live).
I also worked for ITV Cycling between 2011-2018 on their Tour de France and Vuelta a España coverage. Sometimes I'd be helping the producers make the programme and other times I'd be getting the lunches. Just in case you were wondering - Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen had the same ham sandwich every day, it was great.
