It heads from Exeter straight towards Dartmoor and features three tough categorised climbs as it does a loop into the moor, as well as a number of other, difficult unclassified hills.

The stage then heads northwards from Dartmoor and onto almost 90km of flatter terrain before the finish on the seafront in Exmouth.

If there’s typical Dartmoor weather, as there was on a similar stage of the race last year, then it could be a terrible day on the bike for the riders.
