There are still places left on the second annual ‘Ride with Brad’ sportive (August 11), and this year there is an added attraction for participants, who will be able to cycle alongside Olympic champions Laura Trott, Dani King and Joanna Rowsell, (as well as Brad himself).
Last year’s inaugural Ride With Brad event was widely regarded as being one of the toughest domestic sportives, with climbs including Nick o’Pendle and Trough of Bowland.
There is a choice of three routes — 50km, 100km and 160km — with the shortest course costing £35 to enter and the two longer routes £40. Meanwhile, at the start/finish in Barnoldswick, Lancashire there will be a host of family-friendly activities.
