Six female British riders finished in the front pack of last Sunday’s UCI 1.2 Diamond Tour, with Amy Roberts rolling home in sixth.

In total there were eight riders from the UK competing in the Belgian race held in Nijlen. The 125km event was won by Lotto-Belisol Ladies’ Jolien D’Hoore.

Roberts, of Wiggle-Honda (shown above, far left), recorded her best ever international result. The 19-year-old, 12th at the 2013 National Championships road race, finished with a time of 3:02:58.

Hannah Walker (13th), Harriet Owen (40th), Manon Lloyd (54th), Emily Kay (70th) and Molly Weaver (76th) all had the same time.
