Olympic champion Elia Viviani has some amazing gold shoes for the Tour of Britain

Olympics omnium champion sporting some pretty snazzy DMT RS1s

Elia Viviani is already well known for his snazzy custom shoes, sporting a white and pink pair with a route map for the Giro d’Italia back in May. But now, after beating Mark Cavendish to the Olympic omnium title, the Italian is back with his brightest pair yet.

For the Tour of Britain the Team Sky rider is wearing some incredibly shiny gold DMT RS1 shoes to celebrate his Olympic triumph in his first race outing since taking the title on the boards in Rio.

The shoes are the same model that Viviani has been wearing since the Giro d’Italia, with a single Boa dial being used to adjust laces that one all the way around the shoes, through the sole, and out of the other side, creating what DMT calls its Skeleton System, supposedly giving an exceptional fit and hold around the fit.
