The 18-year-old also took victory in the Junior Tour of Wales in August, a race whose former winners include Roger Hammond, Charly Wegelius, Johan Van Summeren and Dan Martin.
Cycling Weekly understands that Dunbar attracted the attention of the American-based Bissell Team, for whom Hackney youngster Tao Geoghegan Hart rides. BMC’s Devo squad were also reportedly interested, while his signature was also courted by one of NFTO’s fellow British squads.
Dunbar is the second new arrival at NFTO for 2015, following last week’s confirmation that DS Dave Povall had joined the Herefordshire-based squad. At least six more new rider arrivals are expected.
