British fans will be pushed into making some hard decisions this year, with many great performances across all disciplines of cycling. Mark Cavendish, Bradley Wiggins, Chris Hoy, Emma Pooley, Steve Peat and many others have excelled on the world cycling stage.

And of the international riders, there was Lance Armstrong’s retirement comeback, Alberto Contador’s second Tour de France victory, Fabian Cancellara’s continued dominance in time trials and the emergence of several new and exciting riders and teams.
