Cycle Show 2007 – the UK’s largest bike show – is just one week away, starting on Friday October 12 and running until Sunday October 14. After being resident in the ExCeL centre for the past two years, the show changes venue for 2007 to Earls Court One, London.

The show is often the first time to see manufacturers showing off their 2008 product ranges on British soil. Both the road and off-road markets are fully catered for, with a whole host of new metal on show, including test tracks to try out a selection of bikes. Trek, Specialized, Saracen, Scott, Condor, Pinnacle, Focus, Pinarello and many others will be there.

As well as hardware, there will be numerous clothing companies airing their wares as well as cycle holiday companies and various cycling organisations offering their services.

Aside from the stands, there is also a clothing retail store, duathlon competition, Onza trials display and fashion show.

We’ll be there too – come along and say hello to the Cycling Weekly, Cycle Sport and MBR staff on stand I13.

In addition to the public days on Friday-Sunday, there is also a trade only day on Thursday October 11.

Adults pay £10.50 (advance) or £13.50 (on the door). Tickets for children aged 13-16 cost £7 in advance or £8 on the door, and children under 12 get in for just £1. You can book tickets online at the show’s official website – – or by calling the ticket hotline on 01905 743796. All visitors receive a free show guide when they arrive at Earls Court.
