A Milton Keynes cyclist is in a critical condition having been struck from behind by a car yesterday afternoon (January 13).

The 74-year-old was travelling south down Tongwell Street, to the east if the city, when he was hit at 3.10pm by a silver Mercedes A180 travelling in the same direction.
The rider was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital by air ambulance after suffering serious injuries and police are looking for drivers of the other cars that were believed to have been in the area at the time.
Eight riders have already died on Britain’s roads in 2015, the latest of which being a 45-year-old man in Manchester who died yesterday.
