The route of the 2015 Giro d’Italia was presented to the world by the race’s organiser, RCS Sport, on Monday afternoon in Milan.

Giro riders past, present and future were in attendance, including Alberto Contador, Ivan Basso, Cadel Evans, Michal Kwiatkowski, Fabio Aru and Rigoberto Uran.
The route itself features five high summits finishes, opens with a team time trial and features one long individual test against the clock.
