The event, scheduled to take place on June 23, looks set to both start and finish in the city centre.

As well as deciding who gets to wear the white, red and blue jersey of British champion for the following 12 months, the Championships would also double up as a test event for the 2014 Commonwealth Games road races.
Although neither British Cycling nor Glasgow City Council have yet to confirm this, CW believes that an announcement is due in the forthcoming weeks.
In an attempt to improve the prestige and commerical value of the event, the 2013 Championships were the first that BC has ever put out to tender.
The track events at the Commonwealth Games will take place in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, which this weekend is hosting the second round of this season’s UCI Track World Cup.
