When it comes to novel products, it?s been a while since we?ve seen something as handy as the Gel-Bot.

Coming from Californian mountain bike company Hydrapak, the Gel-Bot is a bike bottle with a small cylinder inside.

As the name suggests, the internal container is designed to carry an energy gel while riding. The bottle can hold 680ml of fluid and 90ml of gel separately.

The Gel-Bot has the same open/close rubber valve as a conventional water bottle, but once closed the bottle can then be squeezed to force the gel out of the centre of the rubber valve through a secondary hole, thus doing away with the hassle of using gels while actually riding.

A Gel-Bot will set you back £12.99.
