If you were leading the pink jersey down a high-speed descent at the Giro d’Italia then you might expect to be a little on edge, but Chad Haga was showing no sign of nerves as he showed off his skills on stage 16.
The American was one of two Team Sunweb riders ahead of race leader Tom Dumoulin at the head of the peloton as the race descended to the valley floor, and decided this would be a perfect time to show off to the cameras.
As the road dropped away on a straight, fast section of the descent, Haga went for a bunny hop, catching a decent amount of air in the process.
Haga is far from the first rider to think that the front of a bike race is the perfect place to get both wheels off the ground, with Alejandro Valverde pulling a similar stunt at the Vuelta a Murcia start of the year.
However Haga will need to keep his wits about him for the rest of the race as Tom Dumoulin fights to stay in the pink jersey to Milan.
